Ash Ranges is part of the Defence Training Estate with miles of sandy tracks and heathland. It’s excellent for longer rambles and links to the Basingstoke Canal and Ash Greenways. Access can be restricted during live-firing or training—obey red flags and signage. Some slopes are sandy and uneven; not ideal for buggies after wet weather.
